About Us

 Lori Carlson is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She and her family relocated to Colorado Springs in 1993.  After living here for 32 years, she proudly considers herself a Coloradan. Lori decided to get her real estate license when her youngest child went to school full time in 1994. She chose real estate because she has an aunt who was a realtor in Southern California and had told her for years that she was well suited for the industry. She enjoys being of service to people and had always found the housing market fascinating. Upon earning her license she began working with Century 21 Academy in the fall of 1994. Since then she's worked with several companies and spent 15 years focused on military and corporate relocation. Lori has persistently built a thriving business, earning many awards for superior sales production along the way. She's a member of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She holds a Certified Residential Specialist, (CRS) designation, which is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. Fewer than 4% of all Realtors hold the designation. To earn it a Realtor has to complete advanced training in residential real estate and have a proven track record of sales transactions. Lori is also a Certified Home Marketing Specialist and a Relocation Specialist.

On a personal note, Lori has three adult children, two daughters and a son, two son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law and nine grandchildren...whom all live near by her in Colorado Springs. The grandchildren, five boys & four girls, are between 14 & newborn years of age. They are the light of her life and she spends a good deal of her free moments with them. She enjoys traveling, knitting and home decorating/staging but has been too busy to do either of the first two in recent years.

Don Rubottom first started in the real estate business back in the year 2000 in Wichita, Kansas.  He has helped hundreds of people buy and sell property over the years working for Coldwell Banker, Prudential, and RE/MAX before starting his own independent brokerage in 2018.  Don has earned his Graduate of Realtor Institute, GRI designation as well as his Certified Residential Specialist, CRS designation.   In 2023, Don moved to Colorado Springs and started Your House Realty Pros. Love brought Don to Colorado Springs and he works with his partner in real estate and life, Lori.  Don likes to hike with Lori in his spare time and is trying to pick up and dust off his saxophone and get his chops back. Don has two adult daughters, two son-in-laws, on one grandson back in Wichita.
